Finally arrived in Port-Vila!
We spent yesterday in Noumea in transit, and met a ni-van (inhabitant of Vanuatu) who studies volcanoes, and enjoyed the ocean :)
Today in Port-Vila was essential to check that the seaplane will allow the photos to be taken, and to obtain the authorizations. Tomorrow we will meet all the researchers and authorities that we have yet to meet, and will test in planes.
Several interviews are already recorded.
Then Thursday morning, departure to Tanna, with Sandrine, the volcanologist of the Geohazards Department in Vanuatu, who speaks Bich'lama (local language) and will facilitate the ceremonies on site, because of the different customs to be respected.
